God has blessed the Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist Church with a beautiful setting on a hill in the gorgeous Sequatchie River valley, in East Tennessee. From this lovely place, the gospel commission goes out through the ministry of our members to the far corners of our community, nation, and world.
An active K-8 grade church school serves not only our members, but children from the community.
Volunteers have gone to Mississippi and assisted in the clean-up and reconstruction after Katrina. Locally, members are serving the community through the Samaritan Center and the Sequatchie County Fellowship of Churches Food Bank, among other projects.
Short-term mission trips to Costa Rica, Russia, China, India, Holbrook Indian School, and Honduras have invigorated the members. Long-term missionaries are currently serving in China, Saipan and Nepal.
All activities are to glorify God and draw people to Jesus.
The Dunlap Church family seeks to reflect Jesus in word and action, and the true purpose of the church is to, "as God's children to be like Him. Walk in love and be willing to expend ourselves for others as Christ has done for us." Ephesians 5:1, 2.
Jesus welcomes all to Him, and as His "body" in Dunlap, TN, we welcome all to our church family. A warm Southern invitation is extended--"Ya'll come and see us, ya hear!"
